Fallbrook Woods Is Full Of Life
We are a Maine owned and operated company that is delighted to encourage individual styles, and preferences while incorporating resident and staff talents. Culture and programming offer a breath of fresh air and most importantly, permission for a person with memory impairment to explore and participate in failure free surroundings while living life at a pace that is beneficial, unique to their needs and designed to allow all residents to be who they are.
Innovative and inspiring leadership is provided by an Administrator who has received national recognition by winning the prestigious Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award from the American College of Health Care Administrators.
Over the years, a seasoned team has been carefully cultivated and skillful use of memory impairment approaches are artfully applied to daily living situations. Staff lives our philosophy in their actions and words- that resident needs, dignity and wishes come before anything else.

The Fallbrook Directors

Mark Jacobs
Administrator
Mark Jacobs, Administrator
Mark Jacobs, our Administrator, with the help of the rest of the team, has a lot of projects in the pipeline. Mark’s background is healthcare, and he has run nursing and assisted living communities in four states.
Mark and his wife Valerie raised their two daughters in Peru, Maine, before moving to Lewiston. Besides spending time with family, Mark enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles, playing trombone in the Auburn Community Concert Band, and traveling internationally. Like just about everyone else, he has cats at home including two energetic kittens. His favorite trip is the last one because those pictures are easiest to find on his phone!
Mark says, “We are making Fallbrook Woods the best place to live and work. If there is something that we need to focus on, please let me know. We want to provide lots of resident-family-staff events to strengthen relationships.”

Jayme Velleca
Residential Care
Jayme Velleca, Residential Care
Jayme Velleca, LPN, is the Residential Care Director at Fallbrook Woods. She is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where residents feel respected and staff feel valued. Jayme leads with compassion, clear communication, and a focus on resident-centered care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, relaxing at the beach, practicing meditation, and creating diamond art. She was married on Valentine’s Day in Florida and loves tacos and ice cream. Her favorite vacation was a summer spent traveling from Maine to Florida, visiting friends and family along the way.
Jayme is also a proud cat mom to Bobby McGee, adopted from an animal shelter in Camden, Maine while she was volunteering there in 2019.

Arthur Auger
Admissions and Community Relations
Arthur Auger, Admissions and Community Relations
Families spend a lot of time with Arthur in preparation for and during the transition to residential care. Most continue to stop in because he’s such a warm person.

Kate Warner
Administrative Services
Kate Warner, Administrative Services
Kate Warner, Administrative Services Director, joined the team in 2025. She lives in Harpswell. One of her greatest memories is traveling with her grandmother to the neighborhood where her Memere grew up in Quebec. Kate says that she enjoys many different cuisines, but her true love is cheese. “With just a couple of exceptions, I love them all!” She enjoys concerts, baking, listening to podcasts, hiking, and boating. She’s looking forward to getting back into practicing aerial yoga and meditation.
There’s a good chance the first face you see when you visit or the first voice on the phone will be Kate’s.

Johanna Ramos
Life Enrichment
Johanna Ramos, Life Enrichment Director
Johanna Ramos is a passionate Life Enrichment Director who enjoys creating engaging activities for our residents. She comes to us from the Dominican Republic where she was a designer and television celebrity. Johanna’s favorite vacation was to Margarita Island, Venezuela where she found stunning beaches and turquoise water. She lives with her three children Ariel, Karla, and Jared in Biddeford which puts her close enough to the beach for frequent shell-collecting excursions.
If you know someone who would like to perform or volunteer, please contact Johanna. She is always looking for new groups or talent to share with the residents.

Felicia MacLean
Dining Services
Felicia MacLean, Dining services Director
Felicia MacLean is our Dining Services Director and has worked at Fallbrook Woods since 2015, by far the longest of any director. She started as dietary aide, moved up to cook and then director a few years ago. A Dining Services Director logically would be a ‘foodie’ and Felicia certainly is – some of her favorites are macaroni and cheese, pizza, potato nachos, salmon, scallops, and cheesecake – hopefully, not all in the same meal! Felicia, who goes by ‘Fee’ or ‘Feef’ to her friends, likes cooking, cleaning, and spending time with her husband Taylor and sons Calvin and Jack. Softball, bowling, and walking are favorite activities. Fee hasn’t limited her pets to just three cats, she also has a bearded dragon!
We have family events just about every month. We invite families to join us for a free meal each week – Wednesday barbecues through the summer and Thursday lunches the rest of the year so you can enjoy Felicia’s and her team’s extraordinary cooking.

Chris Bovin
Maintainenance
Chris Bovin, Maintainenance
Chris Boivin is probably the cheeriest maintenance director you will ever meet. He commutes from Lewiston after working for over 16 years at Schooner Estates, a sister facility. His wife, Amy, works at a nearby healthcare facility, so they sometimes rideshare. Chris is an outdoorsman and likes hiking, fishing, and boating. If he isn’t eating steak filet minion or pasta dishes, he’s probably visiting the Utah canyons with their kids.
When you need to hang pictures or a TV in a resident room, Chris is your go to guy. If you hear whistling in the hallway, he is very close.

Patty Haskell
Training and Compliance

In her free time, she loves getting lost in a good book, spending time in her gardens, and making memories with her family. She never says no to chocolate and enjoys traveling to warm, sunny, and relaxing destinations.
